Digital Media Edge was set up in 2015 to share our expertise in digital and social media marketing with business across the UK. We are proud to have worked with large national corporate business and small start-up businesses across the UK, helping them to adopt a "strategy before tactics" approach to driving results from digital media through effective use of web, social media, mobile and content.

In 2016 DME started working in the Education sector with schools, to help them leverage digital and social media to connect and engage with their school community in a more effective manner. We could immediately see the massive benefits for schools developing a digital strategy, designing a school website to become a living "community hub",  embracing the power of social media to share day to day life in their school, creating remarkable content through images, videos and blog posts to tell their unique story and developing metrics to align all of this to drive very tangible results for the school. Richard Mawer - Digital Media Edge

An expert digital and social media marketer with over 20 years in the industry. Richard has a focus  on developing, executing and optimising effective digital strategies in line with clients business aims, to deliver outstanding results time after time. 

Richard's wife Jackie has been a teacher since 1989 and this drives his passion for helping to identify best practice and share what is working for the very best schools, to help every school he meets leverage the massive benefits that digital  and social media can realise for them.

Paul Hughes
Director

Paul has spent the last 17 years working with technology in schools.  As the founder & former CEO of ParentMail, he understands the changing world of technology and the tremendous power it has to impact positively on schools, business and the wider community.

Paul joined DME in February 2018 and is enjoying helping Richard to build a business that helps schools & business to “tell their unique stories brilliantly”, & helping them to attract & keep more customers in an increasingly competitive world.

Lotte Smith
Content Strategist

A graduate of Grimsby University with a degree in professional writing, Lotte brings a wealth of experience in professional copy writing.  As the marketing  and content strategist for DME, she is responsible for developing communications materials for both internal and external needs. Her abilities help our clients find a voice that represents their brand, services and needs.

Lotte shares her passion for writing engaging content with schools and is happy to use her experience of what works on social media and writing of engaging blog posts, to help schools connect with their community.

Catherine Gray
Sales Executive

Catherine's passion for sales and education lead her to DME in April 2018. She builds lasting relationships with schools and their staff, engaging them with how we can help them 'tell their story brilliantly'.

Being a mum to an 11 year old son, Catherine understands the emotion that goes into choosing the right school, being able to build that into the her discussions means that our clients fully understand the importance of Digital Media in the education sector.
